I think everyone can be a writer -- you just have to want it enough & know the good it does for your soul. so here I go, off on my literary journey as a young adult. this isn't a new thing for me; actually just the other day I fell upon my old blog from middle school/high school. seems that I've always been a rather dramatic & emotional human haha.
but I'm so much different now than I was back then -- mostly for the better. this blog will be my new platform for which I choose to express my seeings, feelings, and lovings via written word (for the public eye nonetheless). I'm very much into photography & have used that as a platform of expression, but I think now I need to extend my discipline and write.
soooo here I go! if you're my friend and reading this, know that I smile at the thought of knowing you. if you're my mom (hi mom), know that everything I write about is infused with the wisdom you've extended my entire life.
thankful for the people who have encouraged me to get this thing going.
now to establish my interweb-humanity, I figured I should share a bit of who I am. I'll keep it short. These things influence who I am and how I respond to life.
1. my faith fuels every ounce of my existence; whether I constantly verbalize it or not, it is my complete identity and something that will take my life (& beyond) to develop.
2. sight + sound = everything. First: visualize, visualize, visualize. it's how I learn, it's how I communicate, it's how I understand. Give me a picture or video and I'll learn a million things from it. If you give me something written, my mind still has to translate it into something pictorial for my brain to fully grasp it. Secondly, like most people, I am obsessed with music. I appreciate all genres, understanding that music is an art and is a brave medium to choose. my life always has a soundtrack, and it's a pretty good one. (currently listening to a sick playlist on Spotify called "Tranquility with a Beat." )
3. I am a student of life -- I've always loved school and class and every subject matter known to man. I see each day as this fertile opportunity to expand my understanding of our world and its intricacies.
so, will you join me in this? on my journey of learning and living well?
